Magnivate is an interactive boutique agency based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
They aim at using digital tachnology to give visitors a "genuine experience".

--It's a snapshot of Magnivate's little planet(after preloader).

--preloader,when homepage is loading, the spaceship is in a small movie

The whole website is under the idea of a small planet other than the earth, which is with alliens, spaceships, splendid cultural diversities and travelling in the space. Before you load and enter the homepage, you need to identify yourself. They care about your name, country and your email. You can also upload your face picture to assign to your character in this planet! Everything is about identification.
Of course, they also offer a choice of "skip" in this part, which allows you to continue exploring this website without entering any personal information. It's good to offer the visitors a second choice to skip rather than force anyone to reveal themselves. It's considerate to do so and user friendly.

There is a small totorial box at hand whenever you need it. The operation is simple, just use keyboard to control your character: "left/right" to move around and "up" to jump! Your character will do what you demand for. Smooth movement and quick response.

This is me. My character as a girl in frog spacesuit(?). I didn't enter my name, so the system just generated a number as the name for my character. And there's a bar at the bottom of the page allowing you to type messages. When you finish and press "enter", a conversation box will appear and rise from the character's head to "speak out" the words.
However, it seems impossible to hear any response--you are the only guest on this planet!
So sad.

"CAMERA MODE", you can snap any scene you are posing for by clicking the button "snap". And the picture will immediately be generated.

Moreover, you have three styles to choose from, to simply modify it.
And finally, you can save or retake it!So nice!

When the character comes across a certain position, the information box will rise from the land or hang from the sky. When the character goes away from the position, the information will fold again automatically.

The menu bar at the bottom is a shortcut to go to any point you want. It doesn't simply switch the scene, but a spaceship will appear to take you(your character) there! The spaceship will drop you at that point, and the information box appears.
Nice transition!
Overall it's a lovely website that tells a story of a small planet. The theme is clear and consistent. The visual is enjoyable and the care for identity is appreciated. The navigation is clear and effective, with some creativity that brings surprise.
But the interaction among individuals is relatively weak. You(or your character) might feel lonely (on this planet) after a while, even though you can "speak".
